Entrepreneurship in rural set – up

Best of myself - 3

Income earned in entrepreneurship would be the sole means of livelihood in most rural set - up unless of course, the set - up be blessed with modern employment opportunities, may it be government or private owned. However, some rural villages have not been so lucky but are deemed unique in that they have been in existence since long time encompassed around green environment but more important rooted firmly in the divine gifts and the associated beliefs thereof and are thus true candidates for understanding entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship development.

So, what could entrepreneurship development have to do in such rural villages with such availed divine gifts and beliefs!

Most of us have heard and/or observed the ever changing but vibrant ancient social structure at work in any rural set - up in any part of India. This runs more or less similar to any entrepreneur/corporate set - up and their working hierarchy that operates to serve one organizational goal and never personal goals. It could be also stated that this entrepreneur/corporate set - up is a miniature form of the real vibrant larger social structure. In this miniature form of the real vibrant larger social structure, personal goals are never at the forefront but get resolved when the organizational goals are met. It is only when the personal goals are adamantly and often overriding the organizational goals that this miniature social hierarchy structure gets disturbed and shaken up.  The results then have been very harsh at least for such miniature social hierarchy structures that have had to wind up their operations and even existence. However, somehow the larger social structure seems to have survived since time immemorial.

So, again what could entrepreneurship development have to do in such rural villages with such availed divine gifts and beliefs!

Divine gifts would need divine attention as otherwise their existence would be in peril. Expecting a divine intervention every time for day to day update on the same would be impossible and hence accepting the task for regularly maintaining these divine gifts as a divine entrepreneurial opportunity based on a hierarchy may have been effected in the ancient days. The overall social goal may then have been centered on serving such divine gifts that may have led to related and co - related activities in society and hence a growth of entrepreneurship in society. Again the same rule as for the said miniature social structures apply that could lead to either overall social growth or social anarchy........

To be contd..............................
